Engage in an uplifting and heart restoring workshop in the Black Mountains of Western North Carolina.
In nature with the horses, we will explore the inner world of the Soul and see what possibilities await for you and your dreams.
This is a full-day workshop where you will be guided to settle in to the rhythm of the natural world and the wisdom of horses.
Topic of Exploration Include:
The power of breathwork
Mindfulness practices
Emotional awareness
Saying YES to life
All about exploring ways of creating space for you to stay on the path of who you truly are — your divine Self fully expressing in the world, which isn’t always easy in the dominant culture and in our limiting beliefs that we’ve adopted or been taught.
Horses have a way of creating a space and offering presence to accelerate deepening our own connection to inner wisdom. They offer an opportunity for an altered state of consciousness and awareness that facilitates growth.
Our farm is located in a beautiful “holler” in the Blue Ridge Mountains beneath the shadow of the majestic tallest peak east of the Mississippi, Mt. Mitchell. If you’d like to explore accommodations in the area, we suggest Mt. Mitchell Eco Retreat. The lovely mountain retreat is just up the road from our farm less than a mile away.
About Your Facilitator
Julie received training and certification to work with people and horses through EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) in western North Carolina in 2010, and later trained with Kathy Pike with the Academy for Coaching with Horses in Colorado. She also studied Horsenality/Humanality with Linda Parelli and Dr. Patrick Handley at Parelli Natural Horsemanhip.She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Psychology.

This experience is an intentional time and space to be with horses. More and more we are discovering that horses have much to teach us humans about being present. They invite us into their world to be more present with ourselves and our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Present with all of life. Being with horses in this way offers a chance to glimpse a different paradigm for experiencing life that is multidimensional and focused on sensory experiencing.
Julie will play the crystal singing bowls as participants sit in a circle near the horses and are guided to explore being deeply present.

Cultivating The Energy of Wellness
February 9, 2025, Sunday
1:30-4:00pm
We’ll explore the concept of “disease” and what that means to the group collectively, and what that means to us personally. What relationship do you have to the illness? What is the energy you want to cultivate in contrast to the energy of the illness?
This will be a live class with participants receiving a Zoom link.

Sacred Geometry & Symbols

In this course, we’ll explore some of our world’s sacred symbols and geometry on the pages of our journals and create “discovery pages” that pull in words and colors and create deep meaning from the human experience.
Symbols communicate non-verbally the feelings, ideas, stories of our shared humanity.

Connect to the Spirit of Horses
We will dance with many horse archetypes and the energy of horses. A journaling package is included with this course and mailed to you. You’ll be guided to create “discovery pages” that pull in words and colors and create deep meaning inspired by the energy of horses.
